When buying gripe water, parents must check its contents. Sodium bicarbonate, alcohol, artificial sweeteners, flavours or colours are the ingredients to avoid colic calm. There is a correct dosage for giving gripe water to the baby and it must be followed. It must be properly diluted. Over usage of herbal water may not be dangerous, but it is not even recommended. The dosage varies according to the age of the infant.

The best way to feed a newborn with gripe water is to use a dropper. Some children do not like the taste of the gripe water. You can feed them by mixing the gripe water with milk or water. • Between 1 to 6 months: 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day is recommended. • Between 6 months and 2 years: 2 teaspoons 3-4 times a day. • Above 3 years: 3-4 teaspoonful of gripe water 3-4 times a day. You can prepare herbal gripe water at home or go for a commercial one. There are homeopathic remedies available for baby colics.

Dont forget the baseboards and trim. Use neutral colors, such as cream, sage green, beige/yellow, or gray/blue.
