Navigation on your website (some people call this your menus) can give your user either a great experience or frustrate them to the point of no return… literally, they won’t return to your website ever. Take into consideration your demographic. Are they the older crowd who might struggle to know that there are dropdown options, Maybe the text is too small. Do you have a larger button for your “Contact Us” area, Statistics say that visitors must find what they’re looking for in three clicks or less. Can they do this on your website,

Try some A/B Testing and be sure to monitor your Google In Page Analytics to track your visitors use of your navigation to be sure you have good UX (user experience) on your website. You’ve probably heard about “responsive” websites by now. It’s all the buzz! Google has announced this year that they will start the process of penalizing websites that are not mobile friendly. “Penalizing” is a little vague, but our interpretation of that is that they will ultimately move your further and further down the list of websites that return in their results. Or worst case- remove your website completely from the results.
